Switching cat food without drama

1. Transition over 7–10 days: 25% new food, then 50%, then 75%, then 100%.
2. Mix complete dry food with pouches or cans for hydration — cats drink little.
3. Check the production date: an opened bag of dry food is best used within about 6 weeks.
